Family Drug Support releases dates for upcoming Family Support Group Meetings.
Living with a family member as they work through their drug and alcohol issues (or don’t yet think they have any issues!) can be isolating and usual supportive friends may not understand what you are going through. It is also exhausting, frustrating and can put a strain on the most together of famalies.
Self care early on can help families remain healthy and sane whilst supporting their loved one to deal with substance use.
Family Drug Support has been running support group meetings throughout the state for many years. They provide opportunities to talk and listen to others in a non-judgmental, safe environment.
The groups are non-religious and open to anyone. This month, groups will be running in Bendigo, Geelong, Glen Waverly, Hawthorn and Ferntree Gully. Click here to learn more.
