At YoDAA we do our very best to protect your privacy. In accordance with privacy laws, nothing you say or write can be passed on to anyone else without your permission, unless we are concerned about your safety or the safety of someone else. In this case we may need to exercise our duty of care. When we can we will let you know if this occurs.
- We only gather and record enough information for the purposes of providing you a service. YoDAA also uses the information we collect for evaluating the services we offer so sometimes your info may be de-identified and used for this purpose.
- We keep your information securely. YoDAA is auspiced by YSAS, a health service, which means we comply with the laws and regulations that protect the security and use of your personal information.

- YoDAA has many workers providing a response and we all work as a team. This means the information you discuss with one worker is available to other YoDAA workers and is sometimes discussed within the team so the best advice can be given to you.
- If you are using our chat services, it’s important to know that online chat is generally less secure than email or telephone. We use chat for general advice and will encourage you to call or email us if you want to talk about really sensitive stuff.
