Privacy explained

At YoDAA we do our very best to protect your privacy. Nothing said (or written) can be passed on to anyone else without your permission, unless we are concerned about your safety or the safety of someone else, and we need to exercise our duty of care. We’ll talk to you first if this happens.

  • We only gather and record enough information for the purposes of giving you the service you’ve asked for, and we store any information given securely. YoDAA is run & overseen by YSAS, a health service, which means we must follow the laws and regulations that protect the security and use of your personal information.
  • YoDAA also uses the information we collect to make sure we can improve our service and make sure we are doing a good job so sometimes your info may be de-identified (so no one knows it is about you) and used for statistical purposes to evaluate our service.
  • You should also know know that YoDAA has several workers who all work as a team. This means the information you discuss with one worker is available to other YoDAA workers and is sometimes discussed within the team so the best advice can be given to you.
