CALLER TESTIMONIALS:

You would never know what an anchor you have been at this very challenging time in my life. Every time I speak to you, you are the only person/ team that I feel who listens to me and understands me, and understands the reality of a parent with a child who is struggling with AoD.” ~ Parent

“Thanks so much for being part of our meeting. You spoke so well, represented the work you do beautifully, and I think my colleagues got a lot out of understanding more of the AOD work and approach to engaging young people. Thank you!!” ~ Worker
“I’d like to express my gratitude to your team, …checking in on how i was doing and feeling through weekly phone calls that could be from 15 minutes or even 5 minutes, This immensely helped my battle with addiction. Those weekly calls were able to push back the time in which I used and even stopped me on some occasions and I fully believe that it would help others also struggling with substance abuse.” ~ Young person
“Thanks so much … I’ve received the email and appreciate your great advice and support. You do an amazing job” ~ Parent
“I really appreciate you talking to me today. Even just knowing that something is happening makes me feel a little bit better. I understand that these things take time and that there are more people who require support than there is support available. But you did give me a little bit of hope in a time where I really needed it so thank you” ~ Parent
“I just wanted to thank you so much for speaking to [my son] yesterday. He has never spoken to a health care specialist or social worker voluntarily before. While he was extremely reluctant to speak to you at first, he came away from the conversation better than we have ever seen.” ~ Parent
“I really appreciated how compassionate and understanding you were. You listened without making me feel judged, and it honestly felt like you genuinely wanted to help and support.” ~ Parent
“I’ve spoken to quite a few services over the last few months, and I can honestly say that my phone call with you gave me more hope and a much better understanding of what options are out there than any of the others. As a mum who has been feeling pretty lost, that meant a lot so thank you.” ~ Parent
