YSAS, in collaboration with YoDAA and the Centre for YouthAOD practice development has published a definitive Youth AOD document titled, "The Victorian Youth Alcohol and Other Drug Service System-A vision realised"

The report provides the historical and political context for the establishment of the youth AOD service system and details:

  • The aims of the Youth system
  • Why there is a continued need for a youth specific system AOD treatment 
  • How youth AOD treatment is different to adult AOD treatment

The publication also looks to the future and recommends a 10 point plan for the next generation of youth AOD services in Victoria.
