A young person who has used LSD may have a distorted sense of reality, they may experience visual or auditory hallucinations. Young people can have enjoyable experiences or alternatively “bad trips” or frightening experiences.
SUPPORTING A YOUNG PERSON:
If a young person has used LSD it is unlikely they will go unnoticed in the classroom. The best immediate response to a young person who has used LSD would be to take them to a quiet, comfortable area and have someone stay with them and reassure them.
