The relationship between anxiety and substance use is well known and explored. NDARC have recently released a resource for exploring and managing anxiety and substance use that may be a useful resource for professionals supporting young people.

"Reachout for professionals" has published a great article with suggestions (based on young people’s feedback) about how to make your service youth friendly.
