The work now continues with government and organisations working with children and young people in making social change!

The start of 2018 saw the release of the Royal Commission into Institutional Response to Child Sexual Abuse findings. To get to this point there has been countless hours of work by professionals and those who have been affected directly and indirectly by sexual abuse. The work now continues with government and organisations working with children and young people in making social change!  The Child Safe Standards are now imbedded in legislation and organisations are required to work towards keeping young people safe by all measures.

YSAS is committed to providing a safe environment to any young person who chooses to access an YSAS service. YSAS has worked tirelessly to update their policies, ensure all staff is educated about these update and provide a support person to answer any questions that many arise. If you have questions about your organisations Child Safe Standards speak to your line manager or read through organisational policy to familiarise yourself with them.
