GHB has been getting a bit of media attention recently. “Legal to Import but Illegal to Use the Drug Flooding our Streets” points out a loophole that allows people to import an industrial chemical that can be used as GHB. An interesting read but unfortunately uses the sensationalist language that is often associated with media reporting of substance use. A response article, “GHB: Fuelling the Flames instead of Reducing the Harm” suggests the explicit information and stigmatising language may do more harm than good.
