Free public seminars planned to address Methamphetamine use in the Grampians region.

Regular readers of YoDAA News and Events will be familiar with the work of the Wimmera Drug Action Taskforce (WDAT) who have been partnering with local health, sporting, education and community organisations to address Methamphetamine use in their region.

When last YoDAA caught up with WDAT, they were working with the local paper & ABC regional radio, to ‘drown out the half truths’ about Ice and saturate the community with good, accurate information.

They are now planning a further series of free 'Community Drug (Ice) Education Forums' intended ‘Educate and inform the community about the drug Ice (Crystal Meth) and provide information about support services available in the Northern Grampians, Ararat and Pyrenees Shires.’

Sessions are planned for;

Wednesday 28 May  - Warracknabeal

Wednesday 4 June – Ararat
Wednesday 11 June – Horsham Indigenous Forum
Wednesday 23 July – Horsham

All welcome.
